Why do we throw our heads back when we laugh an extra
boisterous laugh?
Because the joy is just too much to contain?
Because the energy is too much to hold in?
So throw it up and out?
Are we instinctively looking up to the “heavens”?
Is it a kind of opening of one’s spirit? In the way that throwing our arms up
outstretched is an open stance?
Is it some kind of instinctive response? A reflex action?
It’s beyond me, but here I am doing it anyway- spontaneously
out of control…
